properly, workforce planning brings together all the data collected about
employees that contribute to their employment with the organization and
all operational data needed to estimate the number, type and skill mix of
employees needed to staff the plan. Some of the software tools used
to support this process are quite sophisticated; they incorporate basic
spreadsheet capabilities with a database extract for analysis. For
"heavy duty" reporting, a data warehouse is probably a more
satisfactory solution |
