ABOUT THE HR FUNCTION - B2.8 Manage Workforce Information

This component reports information from the HRIS database at a point in time. Information can range from total count of current records in the database at the end of the day, week, month or year. Some organizations prefer to report headcounts in conjunction with financial period cycles. Information can be summarized at organization, location or position level to give a more detailed profile of the company. Age, tenure, gender, etc summaries help to give management an insight into the composition of the workforce, and enable more accurate forecasting of future requirements.
